With the AAAS kicking off on the 14th of February, AWIS would like to welcome you to a reception honoring the 2018 award winners of the OWSD-Elsevier Foundation Awards for Early-Career Women Scientists in the Developing WorldThese talented women scientists from Cameroon, Guyana, Ecuador, Indonesia and Bangladesh are being recognized for their accomplishments in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, but also for their commitment to mentoring other women scientists and improving lives in their communities. Join us and learn about some of the challenges and triumphs which have brought them to Austin today and share some of your own recipes for success.
