Trailblazers: Provost's Mentoring Initiative for Faculty (Clemson University only)

This workshop provides individuals with an appreciation for how important mentoring is as well as the tools and techniques that they will need to be successful in their mentoring relationships.  This workshop addresses the mentoring and leadership strategies that can be implemented to refresh and re-energize one’s career.  Participants will learn to recognize the different types of mentoring and best practices related to an effective mentoring relationship, understand the different elements required in creating a successful mentoring plan, and identify the important components of a needs assessment in developing a mentoring program at the department level.
